Our website may use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device, for example on a hard drive, and through which certain information flows to us as the party setting the cookie. Cookies cannot run programs or transfer viruses to your device. The following types of cookies may be used on this website:

Transient cookies: These are deleted automatically when you close your browser. They include in particular session cookies, which store a so-called session ID that allows various requests from your browser to be assigned to the same session. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.

Persistent cookies: These are deleted automatically after a specified period, which may differ depending on the cookie. You can delete these cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Further functions and services of our website

In addition to the informational use of our website described above, we offer various services that you can use if you are interested. This usually requires you to provide further personal data, which we need to provide the respective service. The above principles of data processing apply.

In some cases we use carefully selected and commissioned external service providers to process this data. They are bound by our instructions and are regularly monitored by us. Where personal data is passed on to third parties in the course of services we offer together with partners, or where such third parties are based outside the European Economic Area, you will find further information in the descriptions of the individual services below.

The processing of this personal data serves solely to handle your enquiry. This also constitutes our legitimate interest in processing your personal data. If you have given us consent, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; otherwise it is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, in particular where you send us data by email. If your email aims at concluding a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR is an additional legal basis.

The data will be deleted, subject to statutory retention periods, as soon as we have finished handling your enquiry. You can declare your withdrawal or objection by email to the address given in our Legal Notice.

Google Web Fonts

We use “Google Web Fonts”, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Web Fonts allows us to use external fonts. When you access our website, your browser loads the required font into its cache so that our texts are displayed correctly. If your browser does not support this function, a standard font from your computer is used. The fonts are integrated via a server request, usually to a Google server in the USA. This transmits to the server which of our pages you have visited, and Google stores the IP address of your device's browser. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected and processed by Google.

We use Google Web Fonts for optimisation purposes, in particular to improve the use and design of our website. This also constitutes our legitimate interest in the processing of the above data by the third-party provider. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Further information on data protection can be found in Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Further information on Google Web Fonts: developers.google.com/fonts/faq.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar of your browser changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser. When SSL/TLS encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

If you follow one of the external links on our website, you leave the sphere of influence and responsibility of Gold GmbH. For information on data protection and the handling of user data on external websites, please refer to the respective providers.

In particular, we record the pages visited, the date and time of access, the referring website and information about your browser, operating system and screen resolution.

We use Matomo to evaluate the use of our website and to improve our offering. This constitutes our legitimate interest in data processing. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

You can object to the collection of data by Matomo at any time:
